Named After My Son.
Built For You.

In 2024, I gave birth to my son. I named him Myles. But something went terribly wrong. I had fibroids in my womb. After giving birth, my womb refused to shrink back down. That meant I was bleeding out. A lot. They rushed me to the operating theatre. I remember lying there thinking I was going to die. Thinking about my son somewhere else in that hospital without his mother.

I couldn't hold him right after. I couldn't have that skin-to-skin contact that every new mother dreams about. I was fighting for my life while my baby was somewhere else, probably wondering where I was.

But I didn't die. And today my son Myles is here with me, growing, thriving, curious, full of energy.

What came after was postpartum depression. Dark days. Struggling days. Days when I didn't recognise myself. My husband, a medical doctor, loved me deeply, but postpartum depression is something you can only truly understand from the inside. He couldn't feel what I was feeling, and that's not a criticism. It's just the reality of what this illness does. It isolates you even from the people who love you most.

I was lucky. I got access to CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and it genuinely helped me. But I know that most women don't have that access. And some of the questions I was asked during my CBT assessment made me realise: these are things every woman should be able to ask, reflect on, and understand about herself. So I built them into Myles.

That's when I realized something. There are thousands of women going through exactly what I went through. And they're going through it alone. They don't understand their bodies. Their doctors are too busy. Their partners don't understand. They're scared.

So I built Myles for you. For the girl who doesn't know why her period is irregular. For the woman after birth who can't stop bleeding. For the exhausted new parent dealing with fibroids or endometriosis or PMOS. For every single woman who has ever felt alone with her health.

Myles is named after my son, because my son saved my life. And I want Myles the app to save yours too, from feeling lost and alone on this journey.

Things You're
Probably Wondering

Is Ask Babe my doctor?
+
No. Babe is an AI companion who shares general information. She's not a replacement for your GP or midwife. If something feels like an emergency, go see a doctor. Use Babe for the questions nagging you at midnight or things you're too embarrassed to ask anyone else.
What happens when my trial ends?
+
You get 7 days free. On day 8, we charge you the subscription price (£6.99 a month or £39.99 a year). You can cancel anytime. And the price you pay now? That's locked in for life. New members will pay more, but you're a founding member. Your price stays yours forever.
Is my health data actually private?
+
Yes. Your period tracking data, pregnancy notes, and baby care logs stay on your phone. We never send that to our servers. The only thing that leaves your phone is when you ask Babe a question. We don't sell your data. We don't share it.
Do I need to download an app?
+
Nope. Myles works in your browser on any phone. But if you want it on your home screen like a real app, tap your browser menu and select "Add to Home Screen." No App Store needed.
Who built this?
+
I'm Benedicta. I built this after having my son and going through postpartum depression with no one to turn to. I didn't want another woman to feel as lost as I did. So I kept building. And now Myles is here for you.
Is Myles accessible if I have a visual impairment?
+
Yes, and this matters to us deeply. Myles has a built-in Read Aloud feature that reads the screen to you. You can also increase the font size, switch to high-contrast mode, and change the colour theme, all from inside the app settings. Everything is also compatible with your phone's built-in screen reader (VoiceOver on Apple phones and TalkBack on Android phones). Every woman deserves access, regardless of how she experiences the world.
Does Myles support mental health?
+
Yes. Postpartum depression, anxiety, and emotional wellbeing are built into Myles. Not as afterthoughts., but as core parts of the app. Some of the reflective questions inside Myles are drawn from real CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) assessment frameworks. We know not everyone has access to therapy, and while Myles is not a replacement for professional support, we want every woman to have a starting point: a space to reflect, understand what she's feeling, and know she's not alone. If you're struggling, Myles will also point you toward real help.
I can't afford the subscription. Can I still use Myles?
+
Period tracking is always free. No trial,, no payment, no time limit. And if you genuinely cannot afford the subscription, reach out to us at hello@myleshealth.com. We have compassionate access available for women who need it. No woman should be locked out of basic health knowledge because of money. We mean that.
Is Myles available in Africa and other countries?
+
Yes, Myles works anywhere in the world with an internet connection. It runs in your phone browser, so there's nothing to download. We support multiple languages including Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Honestly, one of the reasons we built Myles the way we did is because we know that access to basic women's health knowledge: how to calculate your cycle, understand ovulation, know your due date, is not equally distributed in the world and that's not okay. We're working on making Myles more accessible globally, and if you're part of an organisation that shares this mission, we'd love to talk: hello@myleshealth.com
