How Myles Was Born

Named After My Son.
Built For You.

In 2024, I gave birth to my son. I named him Myles. But something went terribly wrong. I had fibroids in my womb. After giving birth, my womb refused to shrink back down. That meant I was bleeding out. A lot. They rushed me to the operating theatre. I remember lying there thinking I was going to die. Thinking about my son somewhere else in that hospital without his mother.

I couldn't hold him right after. I couldn't have that skin-to-skin contact that every new mother dreams about. I was fighting for my life while my baby was somewhere else, probably wondering where I was.

But I didn't die. And today my son Myles is here with me, growing, thriving, curious, full of energy.

What came after was postpartum depression. Dark days. Struggling days. Days when I didn't recognize myself. And here's the thing that broke my heart — my own husband, a medical doctor, couldn't understand what I was going through. During those months, I kept wishing I had someone who truly got it.

That's when I realized something. There are thousands of women going through exactly what I went through. And they're going through it alone. They don't understand their bodies. Their doctors are too busy. Their partners don't understand. They're scared.

What happens when my trial ends?

Is my health data actually private?

Period Tracking Data — Stays Private on Your Device

Your period tracking entries, cycle predictions, pregnancy notes, and baby care logs are stored only on your device using your browser's local storage. This data never reaches our servers. You are the only person who can access it.

Ask Babe Conversations — Sent to Anthropic

When you message Ask Babe, your message is sent to Anthropic's API servers to generate a response. Anthropic may use this data to improve their AI model (as outlined in their privacy policy). You can use the rest of the App without Ask Babe if you prefer.

What Gets Deleted

Note: We may retain transaction records for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance.

We use industry-standard security: HTTPS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive data, strict access controls, and regular security reviews.

Welcome to Myles Health. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Myles Health application (the "App") and website (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using Myles, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Myles. By using the Service, you confirm you are 13 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Users aged 13–17 may use Myles with parental awareness.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

Founding Member Pricing

Users who subscribe during the launch period have locked-in pricing that will never increase, even as we raise prices for new members. This is our thank you for believing in Myles from the beginning.

Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. You will receive a receipt by email after each charge. Your subscription auto-renews each billing period unless cancelled.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

How to Cancel

Cancel anytime via App Settings → Subscription → Cancel or by emailing hello@myleshealth.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused subscription time. If you cancel during your free trial, you will not be charged. If there is a billing error on our part, contact us at hello@myleshealth.com within 30 days.

4. Health Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Ask Babe Disclaimer

Ask Babe is an AI assistant. She is NOT a doctor and cannot diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or provide emergency guidance. If you experience symptoms of a medical emergency, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency number immediately.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Myles and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; medical decisions based on information from Myles or Ask Babe; health outcomes or complications; or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in Myles — text, graphics, logos, design, and software — is owned by Myles Health / Mamaspath. You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use Myles. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or use Myles content for commercial purposes.

You retain all rights to your personal health data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Myles is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may take the Service offline for maintenance with or without advance notice and may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. All disputes must be resolved individually — you agree not to participate in any class action against Myles. Please contact hello@myleshealth.com before pursuing any legal action.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Myles constitutes acceptance.
