Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
I built Myles because I needed it. And I know the last thing you want when you're dealing with your health is to feel like your most personal data is being passed around. So let me be straight with you about how this works.
The short version: Your period tracking data lives on your phone. We never see it. The only time anything leaves your device is when you talk to Ask Babe. We don't sell your data. Ever. You can delete everything anytime you want.
What we collect
What you give us
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. If you use biometrics to unlock the app (fingerprint or face ID), that stays on your device only. We never see it, store it, or send it anywhere.
If you subscribe, your payment goes through Stripe. We never see your card number. Stripe handles all of that.
When you talk to Ask Babe, those messages go to Anthropic (the company behind the AI) to generate a response.
Your health data
Your period logs, cycle notes, pregnancy tracking, baby milestones, symptom records, all of it stays on your phone in your browser's local storage. It does not go to our servers. Not now, not ever. That data is yours.
What we collect automatically
Basic stuff like what type of device you're using, which features you tap on, and how often you open the app. This helps us understand what's working and what to fix. None of it is linked to your health data.
How we use what we collect
We use your information to run the app, process your subscription, send you important updates about your account (not marketing, unless you opt in), and keep things secure. That's it.
We do not use your data to show you ads. We do not sell it. We do not share it with anyone who isn't directly helping us run Myles.
Who we share data with
Three companies help us keep Myles running:
- Anthropic processes your Ask Babe messages to generate responses.
- Stripe processes your subscription payments.
- Cloudflare hosts our servers and keeps the site fast and secure.
All three are contractually bound to protect your data and only use it for the job we've asked them to do.
If we're ever required by law to share your data, we'll tell you if we're legally allowed to. We won't hand it over quietly.
Your rights
You're in the UK or EU? You have full GDPR rights. You can ask us what data we hold, correct anything wrong, ask us to delete it, or get a copy in a portable format. Just email us.
You're in Canada? Under PIPEDA you can access, correct, or request deletion of your data and withdraw consent at any time.
Wherever you are, the answer is the same. Email hello@myleshealth.com and we'll sort it within 30 days.
How to delete your data
Go to Settings, then Account, then Delete Account inside the app. It's immediate. It's permanent. No hoops to jump through.
Or email hello@myleshealth.com with "Delete My Account" in the subject line and we'll do it within 30 days.
When you delete your account we remove your email, login details, subscription info, and Ask Babe history. Your on-device health data you'll need to clear manually from your phone's browser storage. We keep transaction records for 7 years because HMRC requires it, but nothing else.
Security
Everything between your device and our servers is encrypted. Your data is encrypted at rest. Only the people who need access to run Myles have it, and only for legitimate reasons.
No system is perfect. If you ever think something has gone wrong with your account, email us straight away at hello@myleshealth.com.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how people use the app so we can make it better. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings. Your health data is never involved in any of this.
Age
Myles is for women aged 13 and over. If you're between 13 and 17, it's worth letting a parent or guardian know you're using it. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we ever find out we have, we delete it immediately.
Third party links
When Ask Babe answers your questions, those messages go through Anthropic. Here's their privacy policy: anthropic.com/privacy
When you subscribe, payments go through Stripe: stripe.com/privacy
Changes to this policy
If we change something important, we'll tell you by email or inside the app before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated.
Talk to us
Questions about your data? Just email us. We're a small team and we actually read our emails.
